A quick post using the blogger's favourite style - point form quick hits.

• Something odd - a 24 year old beat writer has been hired as the director of hockey operations for the Minnesota Wild. Snow will be doing statistical analysis and tracking salary commitments around the league, but no scouting (which I would have assumed a director of hockey operations would at least have to know about). This is probably the most high-profile "saber" style hiring in hockey, and could be the start of a trend in the new NHL.


• Apparently, Pink wants to open a strip club. I guess this is the logical extension from the Pussycat Doll clubs, but what does this have to say about "Stupid Girls"?


• I swear officer, I wasn't asking for that type of brick!


• It's news to me, but there are a lot of Las Vegas Strip webcams. Even more surprising is the lack of porn sites that come up when you do a search of 'las vegas strip webcam'
